The meaning of "Mastarama" in Sanskrit is "somebody who
enjoys with Divine intoxication", or "intoxicated with
Divinity".
His Divine Grace Bhagavan Mastarama Babaji Maharaja is a real
spiritual giant, a fountain of purity, wisdom and transcendental
power...
He was a perfect Saiva, an incredible
Vaishnava, a great Shakta... an incarnation of
the Sanatana-dharma or the eternal religion itself.
An authentic and true siddha yogi, or a master who is
totally self-realized. He is a prefect representative of Hinduism's
most elevated ideal, being situated in the highest state of
realization... He went beyond the pairs of opposites, he
transcended duality...
Babaji was a sat purusha, or antarjnani, an
enlightened being who was always in the atmic state
...
When speaking about a spiritual master of such a high level, the
historical and biographical details are meaningless to the
disciples. The siddha yogi is not a person or somebody; he
is a phenomenon of eternal "now-ness", he is not "somebody" but
"the Whole", he is not somebody but a presence, an aroma, a
perfume...
He is the eternal Spiritual Master and diksha guru of
His Divine Grace Baba Brahmananda Maharaja.
Bhagavan Mastarama Babaji Maharaja left his physical body on
July 10th, 1986... However, he never born, never died,
he only descended for a brief visit out of his causeless mercy and
compassion...
