I prostrate before the Para—brahma—svarūpa, Bhagavān Mastarāma Bābājī Mahārāja, who is worthy of being desired. I prostrate before the merciful, who is submerged in his own bliss, who abides in the Himalayas, to the shores of the Ganga. Being devoid of desire, he becomes the personification of renunciation. I prostrate before him, the abode of love, who is reached through love. I bow down before him, who is the door of liberation for seekers and the Lord of devotees.

O Guru Brahmānanda! You are situated in the meditation of the Supreme Lord and your form of a renounced person is attractive. Attaining that state of meditation of the Supreme Lord you are always deeply lost in the state of samādhi. Remembering the story of your kindness and love, we, your disciples, bow down to you, and offer salutations to you.
I dedicate this book with all my respect, gratitude, and love to His Divine Grace Bhagavān Mastarāma Bābājī Mahārāja and his beloved disciple, my eternal spiritual master, His Divine Grace Bābā Brahmānanda Mahārāja.
