
Our Hatha Yoga classes are taught according to the Vedic
tradition.
The sessions are approximately 90 minutes, consisting of physical
postures, breathing exercises (Pranayama), and relaxation. Our main
emphasis is on enjoying the practice and on developing a higher
awareness by becoming more conscious of our body and mind. The
classic Yoga Hatha is non-competitive.
It prepares the practitioner for 'Dhyana'- Meditation. It
rejuvenates the body and is beneficial to one's health.
Our yoga center is conveniently located in the East Village area
of New York City, just minutes from the center of
Manhattan.
