About the Workshop:
Together with senior disciples of Swami Ramakrishnananda, we will increase our awareness of the prana, the vital force, through the practice of classical yogic breathing techniques such as anuloma-viloma, bhastrika, kapalabhati, and kumbaka , as well as bandhas and mudras.
Ramakrishnananda Swami Sakshipada write about "pranayama":
"After achieving an influence over the external, or coarse, prana, through the respiration, it is possible to go higher to more subtle levels, observing the mental, emotionals and causal aspects. In this way, one may improve one's emotional state, producing the appropriate mental conditions to prepare for concentration and meditation, or even, to later transcend the mind as a whole"
